Mark was born and raised in Coquitlam, B.C. and currently lives in Port Coquitlam with his wife, Val and their family. As a resident of the Tri-Cities for most of his life, Mark has an extensive knowledge of and an appreciation for the Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody areas and offers over 25 years of experience in the housing industry.
Mark received his license to sell real estate in 2002. Prior to entering into the real estate industry, Mark worked for 20 years in the construction industry as a certified carpenter. The knowledge that Mark acquired in those 20 years has been a huge asset in assisting his clients with their purchase or sale of real estate. This knowledge that Mark brings to the table has resulted in a high level of trust and satisfaction from his clients and respect from his fellow realtors. Mark is constantly improving his skills. He is a firm believer in continuing education, training and developing ways to serve his clients. He has taken the time to increase his knowledge in the industry by continually taking courses, which have included negotiation courses offered at the Justice Institute. Those courses, in particular, have allowed Mark to learn the skills necessary to negotiate effectively for the best results for his clients.
Mark's promise to his clients is to supply them with conscientious, professional, and knowledgeable service. It is important to him to keep clients well informed on the real estate market. In doing so, he supplies clients with current, relevant information to help them in their decision making which in turn reduces the stress involved when buying or selling real estate.
Mark joined the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver in 2002 and began his Real Estate career and within a short period of time received one of the top awards in his company; President's Gold, moving on and up to recieve the Award of Excellence and the Directors Platiinmum award. Mark is also a member in the Melanion Club of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. Mark believes it is important to have a Realtor who is knowledgeable, honest, a good negotiator and sensitive to the needs of his clients. He prides himself on always putting his clients best interests first!
